Ripstop nylon, unlike conventional nylon, is reinforced with a layer of fabric, which allows the material to be resistant to tears.
In the production of Ripstop fabrics, a more robust nylon filament is inserted every 6 millimetres into the rest of the material and this means that, in the event of a cut, it has difficulty expanding because it is confined between the more robust filaments.
Another advantage of this fantastic fabric is its water repellency.
